Writer becomes the story.......

Well today it was reported by many Grand Rapids local TV stations,papers and of course the Internet was buzzing with it (no pun intended).That Sports writer David Mayo faces felony drug charges, for intent to distribute, and a misdemeanor for maintaining a drug house. Now I'm sure most of you are wondering why would this interest me, well let's just say it's a Baldoism moment. I'm not going into deals how it's a Baldoism moment so, please feel free to let the mind run wild with all kinds of tales.

First off, let me state I didn't know him as a grower or a seller. I knew him as a smart man, which makes me wonder how could someone so smart be so stupid. I mean he had what appeared to be a great life, a well respected sports writer. VP of a boxing league, what would make him think that maintaining a drug house was a good Idea? Also, does he really think with what was found, in the house the DA will buy the story it was all for personal use? If that is the case, then DANG someone has a bad habit and might want to consider counseling. I'm not judging, that is the last thing I'm doing. I'm more amused at the whole situation that a 48 yr old grown man could be so dumb. I mean really, destroying your whole career, along with your reputation is was worth maintaining a drug house. Well the wheels of Justice have been set into motion for Mr. Mayo, it is not for me or anyone else to decide what will happen to him. Only the judge or a jury of his peers can decide that now.
